Concierge Wellness Program
Does Lile Wellness provide urgent or acute care?

We are not an urgent care facility and are not available for same-day emergency consults. If you have an emergency we recommend you visit a local urgent care or emergency room.

Non-urgent messages will be answered in 24-72 hours by a staff member or your provider.

Do you compound all the medications you prescribe?

Yes! We are a non-sterile compounding pharmacy. As a pharmacist, Dr. Lile has formulated thousands of formulas so we can tailor things to our patient’s needs.

We compound Sustained Release capsules, troches, tinctures, creams, etc. with a big focus on bio-identical hormones!

Blood work
Why do I need to get blood work done before each consultation?

Your blood work gives our providers a deeper dive into your overall health. By checking your labs at each visit, our providers can see trends in the results and make recommendations and modifications to your regimen.

Why do you check so many tests?

While traditional medical offices only check a handful of labs, we take a much more comprehensive approach. Combining the data from your lab with your feedback and symptoms allows us to see the full picture and track changes over time.

When should I get my labs done?

We ask that you get your blood drawn 7-14 days before your scheduled consultation. This allows the lab enough time to complete the results before your appointment.

Where do I find a local lab?

If you live near Franklin, TN or Alpharetta, GA, you can schedule to come into our office for your blood draw!

You can also schedule or walk-in to a Quest or LabCorp site. Please visit: https://www.questdiagnostics.com/locations/search  or https://www.labcorp.com/labs-and-appointments-advanced-search  to find a location near you.

If there are no labs near you, most local hospitals are able to do phlebotomy, you will take your lab requisition with you to do so.

I prefer to have a phlebotomist come to me; how can I do that?

We are happy to help source a local phlebotomist to come to your home or office. Please contact our office to do so. Please note there are additional fees associated with mobile phlebotomy.

Where do I get my lab requisition?

Lab requisitions are submitted electronically to Quest and LabCorp, so all you’ll need to do is show up to the lab or our office!

If you do decide to go to a different lab, our team will send you a PDF copy of your requisition to take with you via your patient portal. (login)

Do I need to fast?

For your consultation, we do ask that you fast starting at midnight the night before your blood draw. You can have water or black coffee prior.

For spot checks with less tests, you may not need to fast, our team will advise you if not.

Where do I get a copy of my labs?

A copy of your labs will be uploaded into your patient portal. (login)

Does insurance cover the cost of blood work?

You can submit your labs through your insurance. To find out which labs are in-network with your insurance plan, call the member service number on the back of your insurance card to find out which lab is preferred, such as Quest or LabCorp.

If I do not want to use insurance for my labs, what are my options?

We offer pre-pay options through Quest and LabCorp. These labs extend discounted provider prices which we can pass on to our patients, allowing a lower cost for those not wanting to bill their insurance. Please contact our office to get that handled for you!

I submitted labs through my insurance, and they denied coverage, do I have to pay them?

If your Quest or LabCorp labs were not covered by your insurance, and you received an invoice, we can transfer your invoice to our client account and offer you pre-pay pricing at a discounted rate. Please contact our office to get that handled for you!

Consultations
How long will my consultation take?

We block a full 90 minutes for each initial consultation and 60 minutes for each follow-up consultation. Although the consult may not take the full time allotted, we prefer to give our providers plenty of time to get to know you and create a plan of care that you’re excited about.

How often do I have consultations?

After your initial consultation, you will be scheduled for your first follow-up in 6-8 weeks. At that time you will have labs and another consultation to see how things are progressing. Your second follow-up will then be around 4-5 months out. As you progress in the program, you will only need consults every 4-6 months depending on your progress!

Will my consultations be with Dr. Lile?

This will depend on the program you sign on to during onboarding. Although Dr. Lile would love to take care of each of you herself, she is only one person! The great news is she has trained several excellent providers on the Lile Method who are going to give you the same excellent experience and quality of care. Learn more about them here...

Do you take care of all ages?

We do! Patients under 18 are joined by a parent for their consultations.

Will my consult be virtual or in-person?

Lile Wellness has physical locations in Franklin, TN, Grosse Ile & Birmingham, MI, and Alpharetta, GA. We are happy to see you in person if you live near one of our offices! If not, we can schedule a telehealth or phone call for your consultation.

Our team can provide the cost of these tests before ordering so you know exactly what to expect.

We do accept most HSA and FSA cards for our services and testing!

Genomics Program
What kind of genetics do you look at?

We offer a wide range of genetic testing for our patients. Your testing will be determined by the provider during the consultation based on your history, family history, and your specific concerns. The tests can target a range of things such as cognition and memory, hormones, cardiac health, anesthesia response, diabetes, methylation, obesity, thyroid, longevity, addiction and substance abuse, anxiety and stress, and much more.

I’m interested in genetic testing only; can I get that done?

We do offer a genetic-only program for those of you who may not want to commit to the full scope of services but are interested in taking a deep dive into their DNA. This would include a 60 minute consultation to review your genetic results in detail with a customized plan of care with supplement recommendations. A second review takes place 6-8 weeks later to review any changes and answer any questions.

How is the sample taken?

Genetic tests are done by a simple cheek swab! Most patients do this from the comfort of their own homes and send the kit directly to the lab for analysis. We can also assist with the swab at one of our office locations.

My family has medical issues in its history. Do you do genetic screenings?

We offer a broad genetic profile, including genetic cardiac screenings, that can identify potential problem areas and allow us to work with you to create a preventative healthcare plan. We also have pharmacogenetics testing that allows us to look at your specific gene type to help determine the proper medications for you individually. This can drastically reduce issues with taking medications.

Compounding Pharmacy
Do you compound medications?

What else does your pharmacy carry?

We have a wide range of dietary supplements and non-compounded medications that have been hand selected by Dr. Lile for their premium quality. Just about anything that your provider recommends we’ll be able to fill, or source it just for you.

Do you compound all the medications you prescribe?

Not all the medications, no. When there is a manufactured supplement or vitamin that will meet a patient’s needs, there is no need to reinvent the wheel! But when it comes to hormone therapy, we find that mass-produced hormone therapy is not adequate — or sometimes even safe. That’s why we order up such extensive lab panels, in order to get a clear picture of what your body needs, and then create the proper medication.

I’ve never heard of vitamin C being administered intravenously. Why is this done?

While we’ve always known the benefits of vitamin C, we now know that administering higher doses of it intravenously has incredible benefit for preventative health and wellness, and is highly beneficial to cancer patients.

Is your bioidentical hormone replacement therapy mostly for women?

Absolutely not! We treat many men and provide an individualized plan of care that incorporates proper testosterone replacements and supplementation.

Are bioidentical hormones covered by insurance?

Most plans do not offer coverage for bioidentical hormones, but you should check with your carrier to see what they cover.

Are you open to the public?

No, our pharmacy only services Lile Wellness patients! This allows us to provide the best quality of care for our patients.

How will the supplements arrive?

A lot of our patients are always on the go, and we understand that convenience is key. That is why we’ve implemented individual packets for our patients! All your supplements (other than liquids or creams) will be in individual daily packets for your convenience. This prevents the need for bulky plastic vials, improves compliance, and helps the environment!
